Querino (Augie) and Ida Jane Alteri purchased the bakery in 1971, and it has remained a family run business. The bakery is presently owned and operated by Ida Jane and her son Mark. They currently employ over 35 people, and take pride in being an active member in our Watertown community.

One of the last traditional Italian bakeries, Alteri's brings four generations of baking experience and over 80 years of serving northern N.Y. with the finest "true" Italian breads.
